I copied this sixteen footer from a picture clipped out of a magazine (one of the advantages of being an eyeball builder). The customer liked that almost tumblehome style stem profile. It is not a pure recreational rowboat and has the transom picked up a good bit higher than is usual with us. The man did a lot of shrimping down on the Georgia coast. It has a wide, low foredeck for him to cast a cast net from and his wife and granddaughter were supposed to hold the boat still with two pairs of oars. He runs a five horse outboard on there most of the time.
